Easy Tomato Basil Chicken Recipe

To make this One Pot Meal Chicken Recipe you will need (pre-cooked) chicken strips, rotini noodles, tomato basil sauce, fresh basil, and one finely chopped bell pepper. Here is what I like to use:

  • Barilla Blue Box Rotini
  • Barilla Blue Box Tomato Basil Sauce
  • chopped bell pepper
  • chicken strips (pre cooked)
  • fresh basil
  • salt and pepper to taste

To get started, you will want to cook the pasta according to the instructions. Add in the tomato basil sauce, chopped bell pepper, cooked chicken, and cover. Allow simmering for about 10 to 15 minutes to soften the bell pepper and allow the flavors to marinate together. Add salt and pepper as needed.

Top with fresh basil before serving.
